Level 2 EV Charger Installation

A Level 2 charger runs on a dedicated 240-volt circuit and charges much faster than a regular wall outlet. It works well for overnight charging at home and for small lots at shops and offices. Electric A/C Inc installs Level 2 chargers for homes and small commercial properties in Queens and across the five boroughs. The work is done by a licensed NYC electrical contractor (NYC Master Electrician License #13066, Firm 004979), licensed and fully insured.

Will My Panel Handle an EV Charger?

That’s the first thing we check. A charger is a big, steady load. Some homes have room for it. Others need a panel upgrade or a larger electrical service first. We look at your service size and what’s already on the panel, then tell you what it takes.

If you need more capacity, we do the panel or service upgrade as part of the same job. One contractor, start to finish.

Indoor or Outdoor

Chargers can go in a garage, on an outside wall, or in a parking area, depending on your property. We’ll look at the spot and the route from the panel before we start.

Clean Install

We run the circuit neatly and label it at the panel. Patch and paint at the work areas is available as an option when we’re done.
